Why GMS exists
The missing piece is often implementation.
Phil Gray founded Gray Matter Solutions after noticing the same thing again and again. Technology is everywhere, and it is sold to everyone, but the calm, practical support that makes it genuinely useful is hard to find, expensive, rushed, or too generic.
GMS exists for the gap between “this technology could help” and “this person, family or support team can actually use it confidently.” That means setup, simplification, training, documentation and practical follow-through.
How we work
Phil works directly with clients, families and provider teams. No call centre, no product sales, no commission incentives. The goal is to understand what is happening in real life, then make the technology simpler to use and easier to support.
We explain what we are doing as we go, we leave written notes, and we never talk down to anyone. If something needs to be explained more than once, that is fine. That is the job.

Our boundaries
GMS does not provide occupational therapy, clinical advice, functional assessments, behaviour support, support coordination, plan management or assistive technology prescription.
We are happy to work alongside OTs, allied health professionals, support coordinators and registered providers. Our role is practical implementation: setup, training, documentation and everyday support.
Where we work
Gray Matter Solutions is based in Sydney and serves the Northern Beaches, North Shore, and Inner West, including suburbs such as Manly, Dee Why, Chatswood, Lane Cove, Balmain, and Leichhardt. If you are just outside that area, ask us anyway.
